Being a Joint Venture of two strong conglomerates and also the first mover based in the newly developed Al-Maktoum International Airport, which is set to become the biggest airport in the region, puts us in the enviable position of setting the standard and leading the way for others to follow.About the RoleThe Director Ground Operations is nominated post holder according to CAR OPS 1.175 (i) (4) and reports directly to the Accountable Manager.Primary Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the management of the Ground Operations Department and commercial aspects for all ground handling activities.
• Planning and execution of all activities in the area of ground operations and all other training issues and to coordinate this with the related departments.
• Identify revenue streams to support company strategies within FBO activities.
• Introduce and monitor Ground Operations standards based on national and international rules, regulations and laws.
• Establish and maintain procedures and processes which are necessary according to CAR OPS 1.
• Monitor training standards based on national and international rules, regulations and laws.
• Implement required measures in order to maintain the privileges of the CAR OPS 1 approval and all other related company approvals.
• Assist the Safety & Quality Manager to implement the quality policies within the Ground Operations Department.
• Introduce and implement corrective actions derived from audits and assessments.
• Manage human resources to ensure that sufficient qualified and skilled employees are available to perform the ground operations duties.
• Authorised signatory on all ground operations documentation.
• Communicate with the authorities and governmental offices in relation to all ground handling matters.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years in aircraft operations
• Minimum of 5 years within a customer service environment
• Relevant experience in employee management and staff training
• Minimum 5 years managing a team of 10 plus personnel
• Valid unrestricted UAE driver\'s license
• Experience in Aviation Auditing
• Experience as Post Holder Ground Operations
