Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Strategy : Develop and refine the company's M&A strategy based on market trends, competitive landscape, and long-term business goals.
• Process : Establish investment management framework (sourcing, screening, selecting and value delivery) inclusive of associated processes and tools.
• Deal Sourcing : Identify potential M&A opportunities through market research, industry connections, and networking. Evaluate the strategic fit, financial viability, and risks associated with each potential deal.
• Due diligence : Define due diligence scope, hire advisors if needed, lead due diligence activities (legal, financial, commercial, technical and HR).
• Valuation: Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation to determine the attractiveness and potential returns. Develop financial projections and scenarios for decision-making.
• Execution: Support in negotiations including deal structure, pricing, terms and conditions. Coordinate with legal teams to ensure transaction agreements are well drafted and executed.
• Integration: Develop comprehensive integration plans for acquired companies, outlining how to merge operations, systems, processes, and teams to achieve synergies and maximize value creation.
• Stakeholder management : Prepare presentations for decision making by key stakeholders (CXO's, CEO, Investment Committee and Board of Directors).
• Develop information database to have deep understanding of industry, competitors etc.
• Actively contribute to the Corporate Finance team performance, undertake any projects as required from time to time.
• Lead multi-functional teams made of internal and external resources.

Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies

Qualifications:


• Bachelor degree in Technology or Business Administration or Finance from a top tier university
• MBA as well as further specialization in Corporate Finance like CFA is preferred

Experience:


• Minimum 10 years of experience in M&A in top tier investment banks
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Telecom and Technology (B2B, B2G, B2C) and good understanding of new technologies
• Handled at least 10 M&A transactions in TMT sector

Skills


• Strategic thinking: Ability to have big picture, attention to details, ensure accuracy and quality
• Business, finance and legal acumen: Ability to identify opportunities, financial analysis, structuring transaction terms
• Broad technical and commercial background in telecom, media and technology
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills
