To introduce Asset Management\'s capabilities to all business units within the bank and to attract business /AUM and generate revenue through the marketing of Asset Management products.
To market investment management capabilities with a particular focus on investors based in UAE, GCC. Distribution channels are FAB\'s internal channels primarily Elite, Private Banking and KCG and external consultants
To develop a prospect base either individually (own contacts) or through referrals by other divisions in the bank.
To update and monitor sales activities and identify opportunities for business growth.
To maintain strong focus on building new client relationships internally and externally.
To manage Client Relationship Managers and ensure timely completion of reporting, and resolution of any client queries with the highest quality of client service
To focus strongly on building AUM and revenues as expected by the business plans.
To conduct business with highest ethical standards.
To conduct sales related activities in coordination with relevant sales support units, such as mid office, back office, risk, compliance, etc.
Assist with developing/improving the marketing materials and the messaging for investment propositions.
Contribute to the development of new investment products and services by identifying new opportunities through encouraging client feedback and listening to client comments.
Responsible and assisting in completing client take-on-processes as per policies and procedure
To arrange for and participate in road-shows, internal presentations and seminars on a regular and on-going basis.
Compiling and completing required regular and ad-hoc client reporting
Leading on activities such as RFP/RFI completion
To conduct sales/sales support related activities in coordination with relevant sales support units, such as mid office, back office, Risk, Compliance, etc.
Any other duties assigned by any of senior members of Asset Management.
To organize and run Asset Management campaigns.
Maintaining and updating investment consultant databases on a quarterly basis
Qualifications
Minimum degree in accounting, economics, banking or financial management
Minimum 5 years+ experience with asset management, ideally within relationship management function.
