Job Title - Dimensional Controller

Job Summary and Purpose

Responsible for executing dimensional control surveys of structural assemblies and pipeline spools, structural dimensional measurements & other jobs to specifications & requirements and to complete assigned tasks given in a productive & safe manner and all dimensional survey activities to ensure all structural assemblies and piping spools meet specified dimensions and tolerances This role executes dimensional surveys and carry out on fabricated structures and piping spools, including all fabrication marine interfaces as per specified dimensions and outlines the dimensional survey programs, utilizes appropriate tools and equipment.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Responsible for execution of all survey work and ensure that all mating interfaces between fabrication, marine and others are accurately measured 2. Takes the dimension of structure after fit and before release and provide feedback to immediate supervisor. 3. Ensures the DC ITP is strictly followed at each stage, include updates the plan to incorporate any process changes to scope of planned survey work 4. Assist in perform Pre - weld /Post weld survey as specified in the dimension control plan and as required by the governing specifications 5. Help in preparing & providing input or dimensional survey reports. 6. Liaise with the Client Discipline Representative on all matters affecting dimensional control. 7. Maintain accurate records of all dimensional inspections and control activities. 8. Keep a log of all dimensional control survey requests and results. 9. Ensure all dimensional survey equipment are calibrated and valid. 10.Ensure work area preparation and housekeeping are completed safely and diligently 11.Conduct Risk Assessment within areas of operation (such as take 5) and working closely with supervision to ensure that operations activities are completed safely and diligently. 12.Employee should prioritize the wellbeing of themselves and their colleagues while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Adhere to all health & safety protocols, participate in wellbeing & wellness programs, and promptly report any concerns regarding the wellbeing of oneself & others in order to foster a culture of best practice 13.Perform other duties or assignments as directed (Fit up inspections, weld visual inspections etc.).

To ensure target production throughput rate or objectives are safely executed by team in line with Section Plan, KPI's, Adhere to health, safety, security and environmental policies, procedures, instructions and controls for the safety of self and others. 7 - Qualifications, Experience and Skills Qualifications: . ITI or Trade Apprenticeship/Higher Secondary Education . Dimensional control survey certification . Proficient in AutoCAD software / Drafting.

Experience:

. Minimum 3 years of experience in surveying structural assemblies and piping spools. . Hands on experience in using relevant measuring and surveying tools such as SOKKIA, Leica. Topcon etc. . Experience and knowledge of structural drawing and piping ISO drawing reading.
