As a key player in our digital marketing department, you'll have the opportunity to lead and manage social media campaigns for a diverse range of clients. From crafting compelling content to analyzing performance data, you'll be at the forefront of driving engagement and building brand presence across platforms.

Purpose


Takes creative ideas and shapes them into something tangible to bring them to life socially. Contributes to the agencies social offering, at all times the most social savy person in the room.

Insight & Development

• Using up-to-date knowledge of platforms, behaviours and their audiences and paid opportunities.
• The Social Account Director works closely with planning, creative and PR teams to deliver ideas which will be seen by the right people at the right time and will make a measurable impact.
• Leads integration of specialist insight across the main integrated agency.
• Sets the client agenda for social strategy and insights.
• Develops and packages insights that change the way the clients approach their business.
• A social culture - vulture, who lives and breathes the social world, with a keen eye on its best in class practices and future trends.
• A confident champion of all things social in new business situations and internally the flag bearer of the discipline.

Strategic thinking

• Works across the agencies clients where social is an integral workstream, the Social Account Directors team will be responsible for strategizing and managing end to end these streams.
• Shapes the agencies own social strategy point of view and direction.
• Creates and delivers strategic point of view through presentations.
• Thinking beyond social strategy, have an appreciation about how a whole project comes together (social, brand, performance and PR).

Craft Skills




• Work closely with ECD, CD and BD's of client teams to oversee & push the social creative product to make sure it is fit for purpose.
• Ensure work is best in class and fit for platform.
• Identify key opportunity clients. Own projects, driving through from brief to completion.


Leadership & influence




• Educate clients around the power of content and social channels.
• Maintain and build relationships with platforms and publishers.
• Be a point of latest knowledge for wider business from tech, creative and media POV.

Teams

• Defines the overall shape of the team to reflect the client and agency needs.
• Identifies opportunities to improve the teams skills through training.
• Drive team member to build ambitious objectives for themselves, and encourage them to stay on track with regular check ins.
• Flag bearer of product and team across the agency.

Commercials

• Work closely with Social Media account execs and community managers ensuring the team runs efficiently and profitably.
• Contribute to new business pitches, look to grow the team.
