Position Purpose Develop and implement quality engineering practices and processes within an agile environment to ensure successful delivery of quality products and services, in accordance with quality standards and best practice guidelines.

Key Accountabilities

Work closely with project members, architects, and software engineers to understand the technical landscape and the context of deliveries to translate complex functional and non-functional requirements to test plans.

Designing comprehensive test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.

Work closely with product owners, technical and non-technical colleagues to provide early feedback on any foreseen risks in the product requirements, design, and implementation.

Liaise with other cross functional teams, project teams in other parts of the world to manage the testing of cross dependencies.

Work closely with Partner engineers or testers to drive QA efforts.

Executes test cases under varying circumstances.

Analyzing test results and reporting to the development team.

Working with the development team to correct bugs, errors and glitches.

Track production defects, helps troubleshoot errors and push for fixing the tech debts.

Support and guide Software Engineers to write and maintain automated functional tests through continuous integration.

Implement, maintain and adapt automation frameworks and test harnesses to ensure robust end to end tests.

Develop strong regression capability by adapting the domain knowledge.

Own/Facilitate the set-up of Quality Gate requirements and certify the releases going live by checking the Quality gate requirements.

Develop manual and automation benchmark standards on Quality assurance and maintain on every release and improve continuously.

Skills, Experience and Personality

Minimum 3 years of QA testing experience.

Experience in Agile frameworks and regression testing desired.

Proficient in Quality control tools.

Fluent in both English and Arabic.

Experience in testing and building automation frameworks on multiple channels. (Web, responsive, Android and iOS).

Experience in quality engineering roles within a digital or ecommerce environment.

Extensive hands-on experience with developing UI and API automation frameworks.

Automation frameworks experience using one or more of the following automation tools: Selenium components (WebDriver, Grid, etc.), Protractor, Jasmin, Cucumber, Gherkin, JUnit, TestNG. - Experience using git SCM tools, GitHub or Bitbucket or similar tools.

High attention to detail and solid analytical skills.

Good working knowledge of programming languages

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
