Join us. AECOMs Architectural Rail team are currently seeking a Digital Lead to join their Dubai based team. As a Digital Lead, you will support the development and implementation of automation tools and computational design techniques. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of the company\'s BIM standards, ensuring quality and efficiency across all BIM projects.Responsibilities:Identify key areas where automation, digitalization and computational design can add value.Formulate and implement strategies to integrate computational methods into the design process.Responsible for promoting digital strategies that are implemented across the business and projects and provide feedback to Digital director to ensure progress is being made and commitment to documentation is being observed.Evaluate and recommend new digital tools and technologies that can improve design processes and outcomes.Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to optimize design workflows.Serve as the technical expert on digital tools and technologies utilized in the design of building structures.Stay updated with the latest digital tools and technologies relevant to building services and incorporate them into the project\xe2\x80\x99s practices & workflows.Strongly analyze Building structures activities over cost and works a solution to effectively reduce the cost gaps.Coordinate with other departments and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of digital tools and methodologies in projects.Engagement with wider AECOM Digital team to explore new tools & workflows developed inside AECOM or at the industry level, i.e. Building Systems TPG Leaders group.Act as a key point of contact for clients on matters related to digital services.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between multidisciplinary teams using digital platforms.Attends conferences, seminars, and workshops on behalf of the company to transfer knowledge internally within the organization.Data Management strategies.Mentor and contribute to professional development of Team MembersDevelop and deliver training programs to upskill staff in digital tools and techniques.Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methods.Formulate and implement strategies to automate the BIM process.Ensure BIM standards and protocols are adhered to across all projects.Mentoring the BIM team to ensure high standards are met in drawing presentation and the model Quality.BIM Execution Plan, LOD, and other BIM related documents.Perform model checks; ensure compliance with general and project specific BIM standards are met on all BIM projects.Ensure projects have a defined BIM Execution Plan and champion fulfillment of the plan throughout the project\xe2\x80\x99s lifecycle.Work with project teams to coordinate model set up, drawing packages, model coordination, and any other project requirements.Set up, maintenance, support and troubleshooting BIM projects.Ensure general and project specific BIM processes and workflows are communicated to the design team members.QualificationsMinimum 8 years of experience in digital development and BIM best practice.Technical College Diploma or University degree.Expert in Autodesk Revit and Rhino.Expert in Navisworks Manage, BIM360.Expert in Dynamo.Familiarity with interoperability between Revit and other discipline-specific software programs and toolsUnderstanding of ISO 19650 and other relevant industry BIM standards and classificationsProject set-up experience including the CDE, design models.Experience in 3D design and multi-discipline coordination, managing models and facilitating data exchanges.Ability to interact with external entities (clients, owners, agencies) to interpret and understand desired BIM or Digital delivery requirements.Additional Information#LI-CS1About AECOMAECOM is the world\xe2\x80\x99s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle \xe2\x80\x93 from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
