About the job:

Kent is looking for a Digital Engineering Manager who will lead the engineering team in delivering innovative digital solutions for the oil & gas industry. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of projects that enhance remote monitoring, remote control, and overall digital integration

Skills and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Candidates must have 15+ years' experience in Digital Engineering, with proven experience in Leading and Managing the Digital Engineering team.



• Lead and manage the engineering team in project execution.
• Develop and implement digital engineering strategies.
• Oversee the design and implementation of remote monitoring and control systems.
• Ensure projects are delivered to high standards and within deadlines.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive innovation and digital solutions.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Integrate AI industrial solutions into engineering processes and projects.
• Design and implement control rooms and, ideally, Integrated Operations Centers (IOCs).



In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Communication:

• Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.

Behavior/ Core Competencies:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of digital engineering solutions.
• Proven experience with remote monitoring and control systems.
• Understanding of AI industrial solutions.
• Experience in control rooms design and implementation; IOC design experience is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to drive innovation and manage complex projects.
