The role will be responsible to develop strategically Segment support resources (number, competency, performance) both within his team and in clusters. Foster sharing and capitalization of experience and knowledge within the community and with external stakeholders.The team of segment solution architects will be responsible for:
Expertise in customer processes, use technology to solve problems and ultimately, improve customers bottom line while building convincing business case.
With sales, define account solution approach and set up successfully customer transformative solution roadmap
On opportunity: help the Sales in creating the quantified value proposition, make Conceptual design of differentiated complex solutions, orchestrates Proof of Value/Concept.
Identification/generation of new business opportunities
The team of system architects will be responsible for:
Provide the Technical Governance and the Technical Authority for all Digital Building opportunities. This includes technical sign off, risk assessments, GAP analysis and line by line compliances for all major Digital Buildings opportunities.
Provide direction and leadership on the development of your skills and competencies to be that Trusted Advisor. Provide coaching and mentoring of Local System Architects to help drive sales and deliver business value.
Provide engineering leadership and apply the System Architect methodology to design and promote robust, secure, scalable and innovative solutions that deliver technical advantage and business value.
Lead global technical communities, providing a proactive contribution to ensure we lead technical innovation, share best practices and accelerate learning of our members.
To provide the technical presales support and proof of concepts and product/solution demonstrations
Assist in the creation of technical notes, lessons learned, white papers prescription and specification documents and make them globally available.
To collaborate, influence new offers with R&D & Offer Management
Qualifications:
More than 10 years of proven experience in BMS & Buildings
Strong communication & leadership skills, effective in a cross-cultural environment to foster collaboration toward a common goal
Track record in Consultative selling
Ability to understand and apply industry/market knowledge (macro drivers, significant trends, strategic direction) in client communication and dialog
Coaching / Mentoring mindset
Ability to engage senior management levels (internal & external)
Strong technical background with at least 10 years experience on the deployment of Integrated Building Management systems.
Strong foundational knowledge of the infrastructure and architectures of OT and IT systems
Passionate about learning and staying up to date with the latest technologies.
Good level of understanding of OT sub systems including Building Automation, Power, EV chargers, Lighting, Fire, Security, Industrial Applications and Data Analytics etc.
BEng, BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical engineering or related field.
