:Provide nutritional services to patients in NMCH DIP. Assess patients' nutritional needs, develop and implement nutrition care plans, and evaluate and report the results. Confer with doctors and other health care professionals to coordinate medical and nutritional needs. In addition, manages the food service department. Carrying out inpatient/ outpatient diet consultation. Diet orders and food production deliveries with the diet clerk and diet cook.Responsibilities: * Assess nutritional needs (oral and enteral), diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patient or client.
Advise patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and food selection and preparation.
Monitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards.
Enteral feed planning and management.
Providing nutrition consultation for patients on OPD basis.
Coordinate recipe development and standardization and develop new menus for independent food service operations
Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance.
Qualifications: * Requires at least a Post-graduate/Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
Minimum 2 years' hospital experience
DHA license to practice in UAE
Excellent command of oral and written English. Arabic language advantageous/desirable but not essential.
