Job Description

The Diagnostic Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing automotive issues, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

• Diagnose Vehicle Issues:
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems in vehicles.
• Interpret diagnostic codes and data to accurately pinpoint issues.
• Perform Repairs and Maintenance:
• Carry out necessary repairs and replacements to resolve identified issues.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
• Testing and Verification:
• Perform tests to verify the effectiveness of repairs and ensure that vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
• Road test vehicles to confirm resolution of issues.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors and customers.
• Customer Service:
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining diagnostic results and repair plans to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
• Address any customer concerns or questions regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in diagnostic technology.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive diagnostic technician.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software. Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
• Licenses: Valid UAE driver's license
• Personal Attributes: Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
