Job Summary: The DHA Registered Nurse with a Dental Assistant background provides comprehensive nursing care to patients while leveraging their dental assistant skills to support dental procedures and patient management. This role requires a combination of clinical nursing expertise and dental knowledge to ensure high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary setting.Assisting in Aesthetics is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
• Patient Care:
• Provide nursing care to patients, including assessments, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs.
• Assist with routine and specialized dental procedures, including patient preparation and support during treatments.
• Educate patients about dental health, preventive care, and post-procedure instructions.
• Clinical Duties:
• Perform nursing assessments and document patient health histories.
• Coordinate with dentists and dental hygienists to ensure smooth workflow during dental procedures.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Administer vaccinations and manage patient records in accordance with DHA regulations.
• Dental Assistance:
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including handling instruments and suctioning.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as required.
• Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort throughout dental treatments.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Schedule patient appointments, manage patient flow, and handle patient inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Handle billing and insurance-related tasks as needed.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to DHA standards and regulations for nursing and dental practice.
• Ensure all clinical and dental equipment is maintained and functioning correctly.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control practices.
• Patient Education:
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
• Provide guidance on managing dental conditions and post-treatment care.
Qualifications:
• DHA (Dubai Health Authority) Registered Nurse license.
• Background and certification in Dental Assisting.
• Experience in both clinical nursing and dental assisting preferred.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment.
• Proficiency in using medical and dental software and equipment.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position with potential for occasional overtime.
• May involve standing for extended periods and assisting in physically demanding tasks.
