We are looking for a skilled DHA Nurse with a strong background in elderly care and a passion for training and developing our caregiving team. Elderly Care:
Provide high-quality in-home nursing care to elderly clients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing chronic conditions.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility support, and meal preparation.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor and address any changes in clients\' health status, ensuring timely intervention and communication with relevant parties.
Training and Development:
Design and deliver training programs for new and existing homecare staff on best practices in elderly care, safety protocols, and compliance with DHA regulations.
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Provide ongoing support and mentorship to staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records, including care plans, progress reports, and incident documentation.
Ensure all care practices meet DHA standards, homecare policies, and industry regulations.
Participate in regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Valid DHA nursing license.
Certification in geriatric nursing or elderly care is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in elderly care, preferably in a homecare setting.
Experience in training and developing healthcare staff is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong clinical skills with a deep understanding of elderly care needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and mentor staff.
Ability to work independently and adapt to the dynamic environment of homecare.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
