Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure management, and AWS services. This role will focus on optimizing and automating our development and deployment processes, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with development and IT teams to support the continuous delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, including scaling and load balancing, on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement and manage AWS services like Lex, Lambda, and other relevant AWS tools to enhance system capabilities and integration.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and integrate them into the deployment pipeline.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, deployment, and integration.
• Implement and manage version control systems and release management practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for deployment processes, system configurations, and operational procedures.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve the DevOps processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.
• Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to Lex, Lambda, and other AWS tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Good to have:

• Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with database management and optimization.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Remote, Contract
