We are currently looking for DevOps Architect to join the team in Saudi Arabia.

An ambitious project to modernize our software development practices, transitioning from Waterfall to cutting-edge DevOps and Agile methodologies. We seek an experienced DevOps Architect to lead this change, employing the latest in containers, OpenShift, and aligned with

DORA Metrics principles.

As our DevOps Architect, youll spearhead the design and implementation of our organization-wide DevOps strategy. Your role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration of DevOps processes and tools. Your mission is to enhance developer productivity, streamline processes, and boost code quality through innovative CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions.

Responsability:

Design and implement the overall DevOps strategy and architecture within the organization;

Forge strong partnerships with our development groups to gain a deep understanding of their existing build and release workflows, advising on and implementing enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness;

Engage with stakeholders across various disciplines, such as development, operations, quality control, and cybersecurity, to refine and harmonize operational workflows;

Offer expert guidance to our development units, focusing on the enhancement of solution performance and operability;

Architect, develop, and refine CI/CD pipelines to bolster development velocity, agility, and the caliber of code production;

Lead the creation and ongoing advancement of automated systems, facilitating streamlined and consistent build and deployment processes;

Guarantee that our systems reliably meet both business objectives and customer expectations in terms of availability and functionality;

Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of application performance and service integrity, encompassing initial diagnostics, root cause analysis, and the resolution of issues;

Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholder groups to diagnose and resolve intricate production challenges;

Prepare and disseminate detailed design and implementation documentation to stakeholder across the organization;

Champion the principles and practices of DevOps culture within our software engineering teams;

Provide mentorship and coaching to elevate the skill sets of our DevOps engineering personnel.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, focusing on software/IT engineering;

At least 10 years of experience in system architecture & development, preferably with exposure to cloud-native technologies (Openshift, Kubernetes, AWS, Microsoft Azure);

Demonstrable track record in driving cloud-native software architecture within complex microservice environments;

Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills, thriving in a global matrix environment;

Fluent in English, with a readiness for international travel and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
