Job Title: Development Manager Location: United Arab Emirates Package: 25,000 : 30,000 AED per month, plus annual bonus, family visa etc. Im currently supporting a regional hotel management company, headquartered out of the UAE, with their search for an experienced Development Manager. The group are currently experiencing an incredible wave of growth, with a number of new hotels due to be opened over the coming months (with a number of exciting projects in the pipeline too), and they are now actively looking to bring on:board an experienced Development Manager who will ultimately be responsible for driving any and all future growth initiatives. This role will be reporting directly into the wider Group Operations Director, and initially this will be an IC role : with future scope for you to grow and develop your own team over time. You will be responsible for driving growth across the GCC region, and for that reason we are ideally looking for those who have a successful background operating across regional Middle Eastern markets. Those who are Arabic speaking will also be strongly preferred. What youll be doing: * Strategic Prospecting : Identify and evaluate potential hotel projects for management contracts within Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, aligning with growth objectives. * Market Assessment : Conduct comprehensive market assessments to evaluate the viability and potential of new hotel and hotel apartment projects. * Pipeline Development : Develop and execute a robust pipeline of projects aimed at driving continuous improvement, innovation, and cost:effective solutions. * Relationship Building : Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, consultants, tourism authorities, financiers, and business leaders, to expand company presence and influence in target regions. What youll need: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Understanding of market research and sales strategies. * Excellent organizational abilities. * Strong attention to detail and problem:solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong written and verbal communication in English; Arabic would be an advantage.
