About The Role

The Development Manager will lead our application development endeavors, in this 2 year contract, focusing on web and mobile platforms within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem. This individual will manage a team of talented developers to build scalable, high-performance applications integrated with a variety of systems including OMS, WMS, Logistics, ERP solutions and other 3rd party integrations.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be Doing

\xe2\x97\x8f Expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, including site design and configuration, catalog management, and promotion and content management.

\xe2\x97\x8f Deep understanding of microservices architecture and its deployment in cloud environments.

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience with third-party integrations for systems such as OMS, WMS, Logistics, ERP, etc.

\xe2\x97\x8f Strong proficiency in Agile project management methodologies.

\xe2\x97\x8f Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record in building and nurturing skilled development teams.

\xe2\x97\x8f Outstanding problem-solving capabilities and a strategic, results-driven work approach.

\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

\xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrate a strong foundation in software development with a significant portfolio of successful projects.

\xe2\x97\x8f Possess hands-on expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks relevant to web and mobile application development.

\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards, new technologies, and best practices in software architecture.

\xe2\x97\x8f Directly supervise and support a team of software developers and engineers, setting clear expectations and goals.

\xe2\x97\x8f Conduct performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and facilitate professional development and training opportunities.

\xe2\x97\x8f Lead recruitment efforts to build a skilled and diverse team, and handle onboarding of new team members.

\xe2\x97\x8f Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.

\xe2\x97\x8f Mediate conflict resolution and maintain a positive work environment that encourages retention and job satisfaction.

\xe2\x97\x8f Act as a mentor to team members, aiding in their technical and professional growth.

About You

Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience: 7+ years.

Other requirements:

\xe2\x97\x8f Expertise in the implementation of microservices architecture, especially within cloud environments.

\xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrated capability in managing complex software development projects from conception to delivery.

\xe2\x97\x8f Leadership and people management skills, evidenced by successful team development and motivation.
