As a Development Analyst, you play a vital role in supporting the financial evaluation and analysis of hotel development projects. You will be responsible for conducting financial assessments, benchmarking hotels, and providing valuable insights to informed decision-making processes. Your tasks will include analyzing industry data, assessing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful development initiatives.Key Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis of hotel development projects, including feasibility studies, investment valuations, and financial modeling.
• Benchmark hotels against industry standards and competitors, utilizing metrics such as ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy rates.
• Research and analyze market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and economic indicators to assess market viability and growth potential.
• Assist in the preparation of business plans, and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Collaborate with the Director of Development and other team members to evaluate potential development opportunities and investment strategies.
• Analyze data from sources such as STR reports, comp sets, and market research studies to support decision-making processes.
• Participate in due diligence processes for potential acquisitions, conducting financial due diligence and risk assessments.
• Support the negotiation and structuring of development agreements, management contracts, and other relevant agreements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize project profitability and mitigate risks.
• Assist in preparing budget forecasts, financial projections, and variance analyses for development projects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial models, databases, and documentation for development projects.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including Finance, Operations, and Legal, to ensure alignment and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in hotel development and finance.
