Job Purpose

Nuclear Fuel Analysis: Provide technical review/evaluations of nuclear fuel, including performance assessments and recommendations for use in Barakah Nuclear Power Plants.

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Nuclear Fuel Design: Assist in the design and optimization of nuclear fuel, considering the operational requirements and safety standards of the Company's nuclear reactors. Nuclear Core Design: Provide technical guidance and comment/resolution on the design and optimization of nuclear reactor cores, including fuel loading patterns, operational strategies, and performance improvement measures. Fuel Design Transitions: Provide technical support for the transition to new fuel designs, including comparative analysis of fuel performance, safety evaluations, and guidance on regulatory compliance. Facilitate the integration of new fuel technologies into existing operations, ensuring smooth and efficient transitions on behalf of Nawah. Nuclear Safety Analysis: Provide technical guidance/review on safety analyses of nuclear fuel and core designs, including risk assessments, safety margin evaluations, and compliance with safety standards. Software Applicability & Qualification: Perform technical review of software to be utilized for 24 MFC nuclear fuel design and analysis, including verification of software compliance with regulatory standards. Regulatory and Licensing Support: Provide fuel-related technical support to assist with regulatory and licensing matters, including preparation of documentation, compliance with regulatory standards, and liaison with regulatory bodies.
