Are you a Designer Armored with SolidWorks and AutoCAD? We are seeking a skilled Designer to join our design department at Shell Special Vehicles LLC. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and must be proficient in nesting files for metal cutting. This role is crucial in ensuring cost-effective use of metal sheets and precise cutting. Job Profile:

Create detailed design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Develop and optimize nesting files to minimize waste and ensure cost-effective use of materials.
Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure precision and efficiency in cutting metal sheets.
Work hand-in-hand with the production team to ensure that metal pieces are ready according to the production schedule.
Communicate effectively with the fabrication team and R&D department to achieve the best optimal results.
Modify and update designs as needed to accommodate new vehicle models and design changes.
Ensure all design work adheres to company standards and project requirements.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Strong experience with nesting files and metal sheet cutting processes.
Ability to work cost-effectively and minimize material waste.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with production, fabrication, and R&D teams.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
