:Key Accountabilities:

• Perform duties assigned by superior for day-to-day operations and to ensure them to compliance with the established standards and procedures.
• Prepare engineering drawings, details, sections, charts and similar documents from rough sketches and specifications as directed and created by engineers and naval architects.
• Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and naval architects.
• Prepare detailed production design for equipment layouts and HVAC ducting layouts including 3D models.
• Produce production fabrication and installation drawings for HVAC ducting layouts and supports.
• Make simple professional computation by using tables, charts, etc.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
• Inspect on-board vessel or assemblies for preparation, verification or improvement.
• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
• Should be competent in both manual drawing skills as wells as computer-based application, such as automated computer assisted drafting (CAD).
• Thorough knowledge in visualizing equipment General Arrangements (GA) and creating 3D views from GA.
• Conceptualization skills to visualize finished drawings and assigned projects.
• Ability to generate complete discipline drawings with Engineer\'s supervision.
• Knowledge of basic installation details for mechanical equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks within assigned project and to meet required deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with departmental / project objectives.
• Trained and knowledgeable with relevant Safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards

Experience / Qualification & Skills:Engineering Draughtsman Diploma / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Proficient with software such as PDMS, AVEVA E3D, Cadmatic 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, PDF, Microsoft office packages.Producing engineering drawings for ships and offshore structures.Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in shipyard, offshore / Oil & Gas industry in design office.Experience in power generation, distribution system & safety.
