Job Summary:

BurjCon Interior Contracting LLC is a leading provider of interior fit-out services for commercial warehouses, offices and building renovations in Dubai.

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer cum Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creativity, technical knowledge, and strong numerical skills to design and estimate project costs for interior fit-out services, including commercial offices, shops, and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Design:

• Create innovative and functional design concepts based on client requirements and industry standards.
• Develop detailed 2D/3D drawings and layouts using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Select materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the project budget and aesthetic goals.
• Collaborate with the sales and project team to refine designs based on feasibility and client feedback.

Estimating:

• Analyze project specifications, architectural drawings, and tender documents to prepare cost estimates.
• Calculate materials, labor, equipment, and other costs required for projects.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and completed within deadlines.
• Develop and maintain a database of pricing for materials and suppliers to streamline future estimations.

Client Interaction:

• Present design concepts and proposals to clients for review and approval.
• Negotiate with clients to finalize budgets while maintaining the quality of the project.
• Provide technical support during project execution to ensure the design aligns with the client's vision.

Coordination:

• Work closely with the procurement and project management teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials.
• preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and other documentation for client approval.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accurate project costing.

Qualifications :

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in interior design and estimating, preferably in fit-out projects.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of estimation tools and MS Excel.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with fit-out materials, finishes, and market pricing.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
