We are now looking for Designer - Civil & Structural to be a part of Rejlers Team in Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas Projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.




Reports To


The Designer, Civil & Structural reports to the Head of Discipline, Civil & Structural.

Job Overview


The Designer is responsible for handling engineering design review and analysis assignments normally involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in oil & gas.

Responsibilities and Duties



• + Act as senior and interact with the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development
+ Ability to review and understand Client's technical documentation and requirements
+ Must have good knowledge and extensive experience with ADNOC / Shell DEP standards and drafting procedures
+ Must have good knowledge and understanding of civil, structural and architectural drawings
+ Able to organize inputs and supervise for preparation of civil, structural and architectural drawings
+ Must be able to prepare and develop 3D models using licensed software.
+ Must be able to prepare and develop 2D drawings using licensed software such as but not limited to:
+ Civil & Structural Standard Drawings (General Notes, Handrail, Ladder, Manhole, Stairways etc.,)
+ Roads & Pavements Details
+ Develop grading layout drawings
+ Civil General Arrangement Drawings
+ Substation Buildings - Architectural Plan, Section, Elevation & Details
+ Control Building - Architectural Plan, Section, Elevation & Details
+ Service Building (RDS) - Architectural Plan, Section, Elevation & Details
+ Equipment & Sheds - Layout & Details
+ Pipe Rack - Layout & Details
+ Understand the interface within multi-discipline project
+ Should take full responsibility of proper and timely execution of project deliverable ensuring full compliance with quality management system and any project specific contractual requirements.
+ Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management teams.
+ Coordinate within members of civil structural discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team
+ Participates in progress review meetings and be aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out.
+ Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, material quantity and budget control
+ Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects
+ Should be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas
+ Cooperating with other engineering disciplines, customers and subcontractors locally or overseas
+ Must be able to review and check civil structural design deliverables
+ Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Energy and Environmental objectives.

Qualifications

• Engineering Graduate (BSc. or Diploma.)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Designer in O&G field
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Strong Knowledge on Field Civil & Structural.
• Expertise in AutoCAD
• ADNOC experience will be an added advantage
• Must have worked in FEED and EPC projects and delivered to ADNOC Onshore
• Working experience with reputed Engineering Consultant(s) is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• Team player, smart-worker, problem solver and a can-do attitude
• Fluent in English language.
