:Position Summary:The Design Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the design process and leading a team of designers, engineers, and draftsmen in the creation of innovative facade solutions. Design Development and Oversight

Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand design requirements and provide technical expertise.
Project Management and Coordination
Develop and manage project design schedules, ensuring timely delivery of design documentation and solutions.
Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of design and construction processes.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Technical Expertise and Innovation
Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and materials in facade design and construction.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team, promoting innovative design solutions and best practices.
Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to ensure design integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Implement quality control procedures to review and validate design calculations, details, and documentation.
Address any design-related issues or conflicts during construction, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and other project stakeholders.
Present design concepts, solutions, and progress to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, effectively communicating technical details and design intent.
Address client feedback and incorporate changes or improvements into the design process as needed.
Documentation and Reporting
Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of design processes, changes, and approvals.
Prepare and present design reports, presentations, and progress updates to senior management and clients.
Maintain records of design iterations, decisions, and project milestones for future reference and compliance purposes.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Education: A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or a related field. A masters degree or relevant certifications in facade design or construction management is a plus.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in facade design, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or senior design role. Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial projects, or complex facade systems is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and other 3D modeling tools. Familiarity with structural analysis software and BIM (Building Information Modeling) systems.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring abilities. Experience in managing and developing design teams.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex design concepts clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders.
