Overview:
As the Design Team Leader at Reges Events, you will lead a dynamic group of designers to create visually stunning and memorable experiences for events.
Your role will involve overseeing all design projects, ensuring creative excellence, and maintaining high-quality standards. You will be the primary contact for senior management on all design-related matters, working directly with the CEO for guidance and consultation on the company's current designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and manage the design team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Provide guidance and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and ensure the highest quality of work.
• Act as the liaison between the design team and senior management, receiving direct instructions from the CEO.
Creative Direction:
• Develop and implement the overall creative vision for events, ensuring alignment with client goals and company standards.
• Oversee the creation of Mood Boards, Job Orders, and 3D Shots to visually convey concepts.
Project Management:
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Allocate resources effectively, distributing tasks to team members based on their strengths and expertise.
Client Collaboration:
• Work closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements, translating them into innovative and effective design solutions.
• Present design concepts to clients, incorporating their feedback and making necessary adjustments.
Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all design elements meet quality and aesthetic standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and make real-time adjustments to achieve the desired visual impact.
Trend Analysis and Innovation:
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, technologies, and materials.
• Encourage innovation and bring new ideas to the table, continuously pushing the boundaries of design.
Budget Management:
• Identify cost-effective design solutions without compromising quality.
• Monitor and manage the design budget, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
Performance Evaluation:
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for design team members, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in design, visual arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a design team, preferably in the events industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work, including concept development, sketches, preliminary designs, and final event images.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Auto Cad, 3D Max.
• Exceptional technical and creative skills, with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in translating client preferences into tangible designs.
• Ability to work creatively within budget constraints and make cost-effective design decisions.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as project schedules require.
