Design / Senior Design Engineer
Location: Dubai
Type of Contract: Permanent We are seeking a skilled Design / Senior Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will contribute to engineering standards and processes, provide technical drafting of drawings, and participate in product development.Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with QHSE policies and procedures.
• Setting engineering standards and processes.
• Creating technical drawings and drafting designs.
• Developing assembly, disassembly, and redress procedures.
• Generating engineering test requests and reports.
• Overseeing design planning, reviews, and approvals.
• Participating in product development and qualification processes.
• Leading prototype design and testing in the workshop.
• Analysing customer design proposals and specifications to ensure conformance with requirements.
• Creating manufacturing drawings in line with applicable standards.
• Maintaining drawing integrity and adhering to design control systems.
• Defining Design Acceptance Criteria (DAC) as per product and customer specifications.
• Engaging with management to meet design and development needs.

Accountabilities:

• Maintaining and communicating changes in design.
• Verifying accuracy of new drawings before assembly and testing.

Authorities:

• Presenting new packer designs.
• Halting the assembly process if discrepancies are identified in the drawings.
• Providing and reviewing technical drafts for approval.
• Overseeing prototype equipment design and testing in the workshop.

Minimum Requirements:Education/Academic Qualification:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Design, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.

Training & Certifications:

• Knowledge of QHSE/API Q1 standards.
• Familiarity with product specification requirements such as API 11-D1, ASNT, AWS, etc.
• Awareness of project planning and analysis.
• Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD and CADWORKS.

Skills:

• Fluency in English.
• Understanding of API manufacturing principles and their application to packer design.
• Working knowledge of completion equipment design calculations.
