Job Description

• Design & Develop Products : Create detailed designs and technical drawings for carpentry and steel fabrication projects.
• Process Optimization : Optimize carpentry and steel fabrication processes to improve efficiency, reduce material waste, and enhance production timelines.
• Collaboration : Work with carpenters, fabricators, engineers, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and smooth workflow.
• Prototyping & Testing : Build prototypes and conduct tests to ensure designs meet functional and structural requirements.
• Production Support : Provide on-site technical support to ensure high-quality production of wooden and steel components.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure all wooden and steel products meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Product Lifecycle Management : Oversee design revisions, updates, and adjustments during the production and installation phases.
• CAD Modeling & Simulation : Utilize CAD software to design precise models for carpentry and steel fabrication, and simulate fabrication processes.
• Resource Planning : Manage the procurement of raw materials, tools, and equipment required for carpentry and steel fabrication projects.
• Compliance & Safety : Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations in carpentry and steel fabrication work.
• Cost Estimation : Estimate material costs, labor costs, and production timelines for carpentry and steel fabrication projects.
• Continuous Improvement : Apply Lean or Six Sigma principles to improve carpentry and steel fabrication processes and reduce inefficiencies.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate records of designs, production schedules, and quality control results.
• Client & Stakeholder Interaction : Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders to ensure designs meet their requirements and specifications.
• Training & Mentoring : Provide training and mentorship to junior carpenters, fabricators, and technicians on best practices and safety standards.
