The Role

Our Multi National Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Design Lead / Sustainability Consultant to join their team in the UAE to work on Residential, Commercial and Hospitality projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Sustainability Design Lead on new build and refurbishment projects in the UAE and the wider GCC and a proven background working in a recognised PMC or Design Consultancy business. Only candidates holding professional certifications / memberships such as LEED AP ID+C, LEED AP BD+C, LEED O&M, BREEAM, Sustainability, WELL certification will be considered. This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client. Key Responsibilities: o Organizes own work to achieve set deadlines o Independently checks the accuracy of own work prior to review by the Senior Engineer or designated senior team member o Supports development of designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, working drawings, develops details, specifications o Adopts good engineering/design solutions to assigned tasks and develops appropriate research and documentation to support these solutions o Supports the preparation and compilation of design presentations and design reports o Develops an awareness of clients QMS procedures o Coordinates with internal design disciplines to achieve a high quality, consistent set of presentation or design documents. o Supports on research for emerging tech/trends on sustainability and wellness in the built environment



Requirements

Design Lead / Sustainability Consultant Experience: o Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related filed - preferable o Minimum of 5 years professional experience o Professional certifications / memberships such as LEED AP ID+C, LEED AP BD+C, LEED O&M, BREEAM, Sustainability, WELL certification necessary o Multi-lingual abilities are an advantage o Must have significant experience in the GCC particularly UAE and KSA o Consultant / Client-side experience o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. o Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing tasks and projects. o Proven track record of managing multiple medium to large scale projects
