Job Description

•Technical Proficiency: A Design & Estimation Engineer in the Industrial Automation Solutions (IAS) division should have a strong technical background in relevant fields such as electrical engineering and solution development for PLC/SCADA-based control systems, electrical switchgears / MCCs, and VFD/RTU systems.

They should be skilled in utilizing AutoCAD software / simulation tools to create / develop and assess complex of Automation systems.

•Analytical Skills: To effectively evaluate project requirements, assess feasibility, and identify possible hazards or challenges in system design and execution, candidates must have a strong analytical outlook. The engineer should be able to execute detailed studies to improve the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of system solutions.

•Communication and Collaboration: Collaboration is vital in this function because the engineer will work with multidisciplinary groups such as Tender Dep / Endusers, project managers, and the production house.
Strong communication skills are essential for communicating technical concepts, fostering constructive discussions, and ensuring stakeholder alignment throughout the design and estimating processes.

Experience in OEMS / Multi-Brands: ABB/Siemens/Honeywell/AB/Rockwell/Schnieder

Experience in a similar industry: at least 8-10 years in the Gulf (knowledge of oil and gas Tenders / project scope is an advantageous).
