Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Design Engineer specializing in gas projects to join our dynamic team in the UAE. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs for various gas infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed engineering designs and drawings for gas projects, including pipelines, distribution systems, and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Perform calculations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments related to gas system designs.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other relevant software tools proficiently to create and modify technical drawings.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, including responding to RFIs and conducting site visits as required.
• Participate in design review meetings and contribute to value engineering initiatives to optimize project outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of design activities, changes, and approvals.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in gas engineering and design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in gas project design and draughting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of gas system design principles, materials, and construction methods.
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory requirements and standards for gas projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
