Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electro-mechanical systems and components for fire protection, HVAC, and other safety-related applications. This role requires expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, and experience in the fire and safety industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:
• Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, including fire protection equipment, fire suppression systems, and HVAC , MEP systems.
• Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other industry-standard software.
• Perform simulations, analysis, and testing to ensure the reliability and efficiency of designs.
• Project Planning & Coordination:
• Work closely with project managers and clients to define technical requirements.
• Develop design specifications, BOMs, and cost estimates for projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, site engineers, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Technical Compliance & Standards:
• Ensure designs comply with UAE Civil Defense regulations, NFPA standards, and other relevant industry codes.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, compliance reports, and certification submissions.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
• Conduct prototype testing and troubleshooting to validate designs.
• Work with QA teams to establish design validation protocols.
• Implement corrective actions based on test findings and feedback.
• Supplier & Vendor Coordination:
• Evaluate and select components, materials, and systems for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source and integrate suitable electro-mechanical components.
• Installation & Commissioning Support:
• Provide technical support for installation and commissioning of electro-mechanical systems.
• Develop user manuals, installation guides, and training materials for technicians and clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2years of experience in electro-mechanical design, preferably in the fire protection industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit MEP , and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, UAE Civil Defense codes, and international safety standards .
• Experience with fire suppression systems, fire pumps, alarm systems, and HVAC systems, MEP is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Fire Protection Engineering (NFPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with electrical control panels and automation systems.
