Job Description

• Design Development:
• Create detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for various projects.
• Utilize CAD software and other design tools to develop and refine designs.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Cost Estimation:
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project expenses.
• Analyze blueprints and technical specifications to determine project requirements and cost implications.
• Develop and maintain cost databases for reference and benchmarking.
• Project Coordination:
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to understand project scope and requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance during project execution.
• Review and adjust designs and estimates based on project changes and feedback.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for design and estimation processes.
• Generate detailed reports and presentations on design concepts and cost estimates for stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and costs, making adjustments as needed to stay within budget.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct design reviews and evaluations to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes for design and estimation activities.
• Address and resolve any design or estimation issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical).
• Experience:
• [2] years of experience in design engineering and cost estimation.
• Proven experience with CAD software and other design tools.
• Experience with cost estimation software and methodologies.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in CAD and cost estimation software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Certifications (if applicable):
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar certification.
• Certification in cost estimation (e.g., Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst - CCEA) is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Office-based with potential site visits.
• Requires occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
