Manager- Mechanical (Water Treatment)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor of Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from reputed institute with minimum 20 years of experience in concept, detail design and commissioning/operation of water treatment plants.
  • Sound technical knowledge of various water treatment processes/technologies such as coagulation & flocculation, degasification/stripping, sedimentation/clarification, media filtration, membrane separation, ion exchange, thermal desalination, electro deionization (EDI), De-oxygenation, oil separation, biological treatment, etc.
  • Extensive experience working on Water and Wastewater Treatment Packages including Raw Water Treatment, Potable Water Treatment , Remineralization/Demineralization System, Sea Water Treatment, Effluent Water Treatment Package, Oily Water Treatment Package, API-TPI-Separator package, Induced Static floatation (ISF) /Induced Gas floatation (IGF) package, Oil Removal Filter (ORF) / Walnut nut filter Package, Electro Chlorination Package, Spent Caustic Treatment Packages, Condensate Polishing Unit (CPU), Ozone Package, Produced Water Treatment (PWT), Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
  • Shall be well versed with international codes, best available technologies and various handbooks related to water treatment field.
  • Strong hold on water chemistry
  • Good knowledge and experience of adhering project specific HSE aspects and local regulatory compliance across various regions
  • Candidate who can analyse input/output requirements and prepare various treatment schemes/sketches.
  • Prepare/review mechanical datasheets, specifications, inquiry requisition, Vendor offer evaluation, technical bid evaluation, Purchase Requisition and review of Vendor documents,
  • Multi-disciplinary core engineering and project management skills to manage engineering functions, supply chain, contract management, project management, suppliers, client, and site team.
  • Very good knowledge of proposal engineering work (cost estimation and estimation of inputs for other engineering and subcontract functions)
  • Erection and commissioning of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants
  • Problem solving and analytical skills to manage trouble shooting at site related to mechanical or performance issues.
  • Flexible to work in office and site to deliver water treatment packages from concept to commissioning and till defect liability of given EPC project.
