Our client, having recently been awarded and successfully launched the national lottery in the UAE, is now seeking to appoint a Deputy Lottery Director. This role will provide crucial support to the current Lottery Director. Manages the day-to-day operations of the Advertising and Marketing, Finance, Gaming Products, Information Technology, Procurement, Sales, and Security divisions.
Organizes meetings or other forms of communication to ensure coordination among the divisions and adherence to organization strategies and plans.
Reviews and approves instant game specifications, gaming system specifications, advertising materials, purchase orders and other procurement activities, budgets and financial statements, internal and external communications, and other work products from the divisions.
Creates and maintains internal and external policies.
Coordinates deliverables and communications with gaming vendors.
Approves invoices, retailer contracts, and other matters as the CEO's designee.
Prepares correspondence, communications, PowerPoint presentations, and various other documents for the CEO.
Attends Board of Directors meetings and presents as needed.
Attends legislative meetings and participates at the request of the CEO.
Represents the Lottery at industry conferences and regulatory meetings, and gives presentations as needed.
Requirements:
Knowledge of lottery industry operations across several functional areas
Must have strong organizational skills and be able to take on multiple responsibilities.
Must possess highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
Must have the judgment and decision-making capabilities to work independently without constant direct supervision.
Must possess and practice those traits and qualities that foster and maintain cordial and professional working relationships which further cooperative efforts toward individual and organizational goals and objectives.
