Key Responsibilities:
• Facility Operations Management:
• NEED MEP & PPM EXPERIENCE
• Support the Facility Manager in overseeing building operations, ensuring the efficient functioning of all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Assist in the development and implementation of facilities management procedures, policies, and best practices.
• Manage daily operational activities and monitor work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee the performance of third-party contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Ensure that the facility complies with safety regulations, including fire, health, and environmental standards.
• Maintenance & Repairs:
• Assist in managing the preventive maintenance program to ensure all equipment and systems are regularly serviced.
• Help coordinate emergency repairs and resolve any operational issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor building conditions and report any defects, maintenance needs, or safety concerns.
• Team Supervision:
• Supervise the facility management team, including maintenance staff, custodial workers, and security personnel.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Train new staff on facility operations, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures.
• Budgeting & Cost Control:
• Assist the Facility Manager in managing the facility's budget, including tracking expenses and helping with cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor service contracts, procurement of materials, and maintenance expenditures to ensure they stay within budget.
• Health & Safety:
• Assist in conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure that safety procedures are followed by staff and external contractors.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Vendor & Contractor Management:
• Support the Facility Manager in negotiating and managing contracts with service providers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are being met.
• Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors for maintenance, cleaning, and other services.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment servicing, and inventory management.
• Prepare reports for the Facility Manager regarding operational performance, issues, and resolutions.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is up to date, including safety certifications, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
• Project Management:
• Assist in managing facility-related projects such as renovations, expansions, or installations.
• Work closely with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Facilities Management Professional - FMP, Certified Facility Manager - CFM) are a plus.
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or a related role.
• Experience in supervising or managing teams, contractors, or vendors.
• Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and maintenance procedures.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Budgeting and financial management experience.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.

Pay: Up to AED15,000.00 per month
