Our client, a leading financial services group has an outstanding opportunity for a strategic deputy to the Group CFO to join their team in the GCC. This is a key leadership role within the organization responsible for helping to drive the strategic direction of the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial operations.
Working closely with the CFO, providing direct support and guidance in the development and implementation of the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
This individual will manage the financial operations of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. They will also oversee the financial reporting and analysis process, ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies, policies and procedures to ensure fiscal accountability.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing guidance and recommendations to the CFO and other senior level management.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis to assess the financial performance of the organization and provide guidance for decision-making.
Advise on investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
Key Requirements:
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
CPA/ACCA or equivalent
At least 10 years\' experience in a finance related role and at least 4-5 years at senior management level
