Develop, implement and maintain operational standards to a level of excellence throughout the store, in line with company policies and procedures
Monitor and continuously seek to understand commercial environment, local trading patterns, competitor activity and market trends in the retail sector and their impact in store
Maintain strict levels of confidentiality with regard to all areas of the business particularly commercial information and personal details of employees
Carry out regular and relevant in-store training, audits and enrol staff on relevant Learning and Development courses
Provide a safe and clean store environment for employees and customers
Monitor sales performance against last year, last week and budget on a daily and weekly basis and communicate to staff
Monitor handling of customer complaints in line with Company policy and seek regular feedback
Set, monitor and continually seek to improve customer service standards within the store
Implement and maintain a relevant induction program in line with company policy
Maintain high standards of visual appearance throughout the store including all non-retail areas
