Dental Nurse Duties and Responsibilities
Dental Nurses play a vital role in the patient's dental health process.
They assist dentists and perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties.
Their primary responsibilities include:
• Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Managing infection control in adherence to policy and regulations.
• Taking impressions of patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth).
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
• Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health such as tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
• Performing office management tasks that often require the use of a computer.
• Communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing, and ordering supplies).
• Supporting dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patient management, and infection control procedures.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
