Job Title: Dental Nurse - Functional & Aesthetic Dentistry
Job Overview:
As a dental nurse specializing in functional and aesthetic dentistry, you will work closely with the dentist to provide high-quality care and support to patients seeking cosmetic & functional dental treatments. Your responsibilities will include assisting during various dental procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting the Dentist: Support the dentist during functional and aesthetic procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers application, dental bonding, and cosmetic orthodontics (e.g., Invisalign). Prepare the treatment area, pass instruments, and anticipate the dentist's needs during procedures.
• Patient Care: Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Take and record patients' medical histories, vital signs, and treatment notes accurately.
• Sterilization and Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments, maintaining a clean environment, and following safety guidelines to prevent the spread of infections.
• Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing and insurance-related tasks. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all administrative duties.
• Educational Support: Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and post-treatment care instructions for aesthetic procedures. Assist in organizing and conducting educational sessions or seminars on oral health and cosmetic dentistry.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other dental professionals, including dental hygienists, orthodontists, and administrative staff, to deliver comprehensive care and ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
• DHA certified Registered Dental Nurse with specific training or experience in aesthetic dentistry.
• Knowledge of functional & cosmetic dental procedures, materials, and equipment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to empathize with patients' concerns and preferences.
• Proficiency in handling microscopes & Xrays.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in dental software for patient records and scheduling.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in aesthetic dentistry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
