We are Greeneration , a technology-driven company that supplies greenery and edible flowers to hotels and restaurants in the UAE. Located in the Dubai Industrial City (DIC), our innovative approach targets hotels and restaurants across the United Arab Emirates, emphasising service, quality, sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Job summary:

The Demonstration chef will play a crucial support role, collaborating with our sales managers during customer visits, developing recipes that highlight our products, and partnering with the marketing team to create engaging content. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for food, high energy, and a desire to advance their career in sales.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Partner with sales managers to conduct on-site demonstrations, showcasing the versatility and quality of our edible flowers, specialty greens, and microgreens.
• Recipe Development: Create and test innovative recipes that highlight our products, tailoring dishes to meet the needs and preferences of high-end restaurants.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to produce compelling content, including recipe videos, dish photos, and promotional materials that feature our products.
• Culinary Demonstrations: Lead engaging cooking demonstrations and workshops for clients, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of our product offerings.
• Market Insight: Stay informed about culinary trends, competitor products, and industry developments to provide valuable feedback and strategic insights.
• Customer Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to improve product offerings and refine sales strategies.

Requirements:

• Culinary Expertise: Proven experience in a culinary role with a strong understanding of edible flowers, specialty greens, and microgreens.
• Demonstration Skills: Experience in conducting culinary demos and engaging presentations.
• Sales Acumen: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for sales and customer service.
• Creative Vision: Ability to develop creative and visually appealing recipes that showcase the unique qualities of our products.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to achieve company objectives.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of content creation and social media platforms is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a culinary role, with some exposure to sales or customer interaction.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel as required for customer visits and demonstrations.
