Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demi Chef to join our Hot Kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of hot dishes while ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and cooking of hot menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking to ensure consistency and taste.
• Collaborate with the Chef de Partie and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
• Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff and commis chefs.
• Participate in menu planning and provide input on daily specials.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Address any issues that arise in the kitchen promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role or at least 2-3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
