At the heart of every great stay is a great host . We think the trick to hosting is to take the time to understand what your guests need, and want. So before they arrive, we find out more about them and how we can make their stay better. Whilst they are with us we give tempting recommendations of our favourite drinks or food, or tips for local experiences that they won't find in any guide book.


Your day to day



Every plate has the potential to create a memory that lasts a lifetime for our guests. To deliver all this and more, we're looking for a Demi Chef De Partie with a passion for presentation, dedication to flavor and commitment to setting high standards from workspace to table and beyond.



Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:


• Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests and hosts
• Provides direction to the kitchen attendants, including cooks and stewards
• Communicates with superior any for difficulties, guest or internal customer comments and other relevant information
• Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
• Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled
• Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service
• Maintains a clean and hygienic work area
• Implements the hotel and department regulations, policies and procedures including but not limited to:
+ House Rules and Regulation
+ Health and Safety
+ Grooming
+ Standard Operations Procedures
+ HACCP
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
• Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
• Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
• Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements.
• Making every single meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the tastebuds
• Taking ownership for your workstation - keeping on top of supplies, equipment and waste.
• Taking on other ad-hoc duties like a true team player


What We need from you:


• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
• A good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths
• The flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol - you'll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
• Great communication - you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
