• Second-in-command when the Head Pastry Chef is absent, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist Head Pastry Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and overall kitchen management.
• Supervise and train junior pastry staff, ensuring consistent quality and productivity.
• Monitor inventory , place orders, and ensure proper ingredient storage.
• Ensure high-quality standards for all pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
• Lead the pastry section during peak hours or in the absence of the Head Pastry Chef.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness in the pastry area.
• Help with scheduling and planning pastry production to meet demand.
• Assist with cost control by minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of ingredients
