Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Demi Chef de Partie - Pastry to join our dynamic culinary team. Reporting to the Pastry Chef or Head Chef, you will assist in the preparation and production of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods. Key Responsibilities:
• Food Preparation: Prepare and execute a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes and standards.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Station Management: Manage and organize your pastry station, ensuring all mise en place is prepared and ready for service.
• Menu Contribution: Collaborate with the Pastry Chef in developing new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation during service.
• Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and organized workspace at all times.
Requirements:
• Experience: Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie - Pastry or Pastry Cook in a reputable kitchen or bakery.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, and dessert assembly. Attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
• Education: Culinary school diploma or relevant certification preferred.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
