Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes based on French culinary techniques and recipes.
• Assist in the creation of menus and daily specials under the guidance of the Head Chef.
• Ensure consistent food preparation and the highest caliber of food presentation.
• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent position in a fine dining establishment, preferably specializing in French cuisine.
• In-depth knowledge of French culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring attention to detail and quality.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with a passion for culinary excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Formal culinary training or degree from a recognized culinary institution is a plus.
