Job Summary:
Sweet Greens Restaurant is looking for a talented Demi Chef De Partie - Butchery to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meat preparation, portioning, and maintaining the highest quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, trim, and portion meats, poultry, and seafood as per menu requirements.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of butchered items.
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting meat cuts and preparation techniques.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP guidelines.
• Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Keep butchery tools and equipment clean and in good condition.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in butchery, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of different meat cuts.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Team player with a passion for quality food preparation.
