The Western International Group also oversees a portfolio of other renowned brands, including Geepas, Nesto, Olsenmark, Royalford, Krypton, Younglife, etc. Job Purpose We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Demand Planner/Supply Chain Planner to join our team. As a pivotal member of our supply chain management team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory levels, ensuring efficient product movement, and meeting customer demand. Key Responsibilities:
Replenishment Management: Coordinate the movement of inventory from reserve storage areas to primary storage locations, and subsequently to picking locations, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet demand.
Stock Management: Implement category-wise stock management strategies, monitoring and controlling inventory levels within agreed-upon norms to mitigate aging and obsolescence risks.
Product Lifecycle Management: Conduct thorough follow-up on new product introductions, including but not limited to home line products, ensuring smooth integration into the supply chain and alignment with demand forecasts.
Reorder File Preparation: Prepare monthly reorder files based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and sales trends, ensuring timely replenishment of stock to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
Product Movement Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on product movements, providing insights into inventory turnover rates, article movements, and overall supply chain performance to facilitate informed decision-making by the team.
Qualification and Experience
BBA/B. Com with Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or related roles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and trends to make informed decisions.
Experience with supply chain software and ERP systems, such as SAP, Advanced Excel.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, sourcing, and logistics.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs.
Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in forecasting and inventory management processes.
Proficiency in generating and presenting Management Information System (MIS) reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
