Job Summary :

The delivery rider is responsible for delivering packages, food, or other items to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The role requires good knowledge of the local area, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Pickup and Delivery: Collect items from the designated pickup points and deliver them to the specified locations.

- Route Planning: Plan the most efficient route to ensure timely delivery, considering traffic conditions and distance.

- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by being polite and professional during interactions.

- Handling Items: Ensure items are handled with care to avoid damage during transit.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, addresses, and any issues encountered.

- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain the delivery vehicle (bike or scooter) to ensure it is in good working condition.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices.

### Qualifications:

- Valid UAE Driving License: A valid motorcycle or scooter driving license issued by the UAE authorities.

- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

- Knowledge of Local Area: Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi's roads, traffic patterns, and shortcuts.

- Physical Fitness: The ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including riding for extended periods and lifting packages.

- Language Skills: Proficiency in English; knowledge.

- Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Punctuality: Reliable and able to adhere to schedules.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations or delivery issues calmly and efficiently.

- Smartphone Proficiency: Familiarity with using navigation apps and other delivery-related applications.
