The project:This is an opportunity to live and work in this exciting city, while developing your career delivering the most ambitious infrastructure scheme in the UAE. With a target completion date of 2033 and significant budget of AED 25 billion (\xc2\xa35.2 billion), this ambitious stormwater drainage system initiative aims to enhance Dubai\xe2\x80\x99s network capacity by 700% to more than 20 million cubic meters of water per day, addressing the Emirate\xe2\x80\x99s needs for the next century. Working in a JV with our strategic partners, this pursuit will provide significant Infrastructure delivery and PMO opportunities for our global Mace colleagues.The three main areas to enhance the effectiveness of the Emirate\xe2\x80\x99s stormwater drainage system include:Improvement of infiltration and sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS) applications.Upgrade of existing stormwater systems in the three major catchment areas of this Dubai wide initiative.Proposed new stormwater tunnels across these catchment areas including major link tunnels.Directs and oversees the programme portfolio within the engine/business unit, leading the delivery of large, complex programmes providing leadership and strategic direction for areas of responsibility.The role oversees business activities across the programme portfolio and related projects and is accountable for KPIs and business outcomes for the portfolio. Works closely with business unit leadership and is an integral member of the senior leadership team providing operational expertise, strategic planning and counsel to the leadership team.Leads, adapts and delivers the strategy and business plan for programme portfolio working with leadership roles across the business to ensure adherence and consistency of policy, processes and procedures.Your responsibilities will includeReporting to the regional director, responsible for the strategy and delivery of the project.Being accountable for the delivery of the project and managing a team accordingly.Acting as a focal point for client and external teams.Managing the delivery on the projects from design to commissioning and handover.Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project.Working with the client to define and establish requirements and design of project and reports.Liaising with stakeholders and developing and leading the processes and procedures.Studying project data and providing detailed schedule and analysis.Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.You\xe2\x80\x99ll need to have:
