Job Description

:

We are looking to hire an experienced Delivery Supervisor to manage the labours and workers in the delivery section. The supervisor responsibilities include scheduling of delivery, coordinating with the factory, customers, sales person, projects team. Should also be able to enforce compliance with health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

A successful delivery supervisor should demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may derail delivery. Ultimately as a top-performing delivery supervisor, we expect communication, management, and leadership skills to ensure that delivery operations run smoothly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and routing product deliveries
• Making sure 3 Ton pickup trucks and Van are not overloaded and that all loads fall within standard weight limits for each vehicle
• Assessing job site delivery requirements and assigning appropriate delivery vehicles
• Resolving all vehicle safety issues by routing vehicles to the appropriate service facilities for needed repairs
• Keeping customers informed of delivery status
• Ensuring that all Emirate Road procedures are followed
• Participating in the hiring of drivers and material handlers, as well as their performance management
• Coordinating fleet maintenance and ensuring all repairs are completed properly
• Scheduling new equipment training for drivers and ensuring they are fully certified to operate the equipment
• Ensuring that all drivers' DL licenses are current and informing drivers when their licenses need to be updated
• Capability of handling team size of 15 and above labors / workers.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree
• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory.
• Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to multitask.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple service needs simultaneously
• Previous dispatch experience is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
